Parent Screen Terms of Service
Welcome to ParentScreen. (“ParentScreen” or “We” or “us” or “Monitoring App”). ParentScreen is owned by Yearbooker, Inc. ParentScreen is a monitoring app that allows you to screen your child’s online message activities on certain sites and applications geared towards children.
ParentScreen works with the ForeverConnected app (the “Messaging App”) so that you can screen your child’s message activities (“Message User”) on ForeverConnected.
ParentScreen requires a parent, a guardian or an adult authorized by either the parent or guardian to register new accounts. During registration, ParentScreen will request your name (first and last), mobile number, email address, which is also your User ID, (collectively, “Profile” or “ParentScreen User”), and a password to protect your account. We will send you an email to verify your email address. This also helps us ensure you receive important alerts and information about your account.
By submitting information through the ParentScreen, you agree to provide only true, accurate, current and complete information and agree to all terms and policies herein.
By submitting such information to ParentScreen, you agree to grant ParentScreen a revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive and non-sublicenseable limited right and license to view, use and access the information submitted for the purposes of operating the ParentScreen.
A User can edit or delete his/her Profile at any time. If there is no Profile associated with an under 13-year old’s child’s account on Forever Connected, that child cannot send or receive messages.
How Our Service Works
Connecting Messaging App and User
Once a Monitoring App/ParentScreen User has registered in ParentScreen, he or she can connect the Forever Connected Messaging User and the Messaging App by providing the login credential to the Forever Connected Messaging App for the Messaging User. We will also ask you to provide your relationship to the Messaging User of the Messaging App. You can edit or disable the connection to the Messaging App at any time.
Multiple Monitoring Profiles Users in ParentScreen
After completing the identity verification, you can invite other adult family members or a guardian to monitor the same Messaging User. We email the invitation based on the email you provided. The new Monitoring Users will go through the same registration process to setup their accounts with ParentScreen and connection to the Message App and Messaging User.
ParentScreen allows the ParentScreen Users to recover a lost ParentScreen password. At your request, we will send an email with instructions on how to reset the password.
To best protect your account, we recommend using a different password for ParentScreen than other sites and services you use. We also recommend that you do not share your password. ParentScreen follows industry best practices and stores passwords as a computed value that cannot be reversed or used to access other sites.
Once the Messaging User’s account is connected to ParentScreen, ParentScreen allows the ParentScreen User to review all outgoing and incoming messages sent to and from the Messaging User. The ParentScreen User will have the ability to approve or block any incoming or outgoing message. The default setting is that the ParentScreen User must approve all messages prior to them being sent or received to the Messaging User. However you can allow all messages to pass through and review the log of messages at a later time. The Messaging user may further decide to delete approved messages from their view, but the Monitoring user cannot delete them after the messages have been approved or passed through. For ninth grade Messaging Users and above the default setting is set to approve all messages. Eighth grade Messaging Users and below need tacit approval from a ParentScreen User in order for a message to be sent or received.
Outgoing messages. After the Messaging User you are monitoring sends a message, we will send you a push notification and/or email or text, depending on your preference, requesting your review. (If choose to receive texts, standard text messaging rates apply.)
If you choose to block an outbound message, neither message nor notification will be sent to the recipient at the Messaging App. The Messaging User also would not be notified of the blocked outbound message.
Incoming messages. When the Messaging User you are monitoring receives a message, we will send you a push notification and/or email or text, depending on your preference, requesting your review. If you choose to block an inbound message, no response is sent to the either the sender nor the recipient.
You will also have the ability to set up notification for all incoming and outgoing messages. Aside from notification through ParentScreen, you may select to receive notifications by email or text messaging or both.
You may enableWe may offer email-reporting features that send a daily or weekly summary of chat/messaging activity including a link to chat transcripts to your email address when this feature is implemented. This is a safety feature designed to encourage parents to review chat activity. Once delivered, there is no way for ParentScreen to recall transcripts sent, even after deleting a child account. This means that your child’s name and chat transcripts may be remain visible toin another parent’s parent or in their email even after deleting your account.
Actions on Messages
Messages that have not been reviewed will be indicated by the words such as “pending” or “action needed.” You may also mark or flag a message for further review. When you flag a message for further review the message will not be sent until you approve of it.
ParentScreen stores messages indefinitely for the lifetime of your account. We record your response to messages as an audit trail. If you disconnect a Messaging User, we will also delete the history of messages including your responses in ParentScreen, however the messages will continue to appear in Forever Connected
Disconnect Messaging App and User
ParentScreen Users may disconnect a Messaging User or a Messaging App within the settings menu. Whena Messaging User or a Messaging App is disconnected, ParentScreen will no longer receive either the outbound nor the inbound messages from the Messaging App.
Disable ParentScreen Account
Users of ParentScreen may choose to disable their accounts. Once tan account is disabled, the Messaging App and Users are automatically disconnected from ParentScreen. All communication records will be erased from your Profile. ParentScreen will not be able to recover the records once accounts disabled.

User Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct
Do not permit the posting of material that infringes copyright.
Do not permit the posting of information that you know to be confidential or sensitive or otherwise in breach of the law.
Do not interfere with or take any action to circumvent or defeat the security of ParentScreen itself.
Do not extract, copy, share or re-publish content from the app.
Do not transmit or transfer (by any means) information or software derived from ParentScreen to foreign countries or certain foreign nations in violation of US export control law.
ParentScreen will not accept responsibility for information posted in the Messages. We may, but are not obligated to, restrict or remove any and all content from a Message that we determine in our sole discretion violates these guidelines or is otherwise harmful to us, other ParentScreen users, or any third party.
We grant you a revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive and non-sublicenseable limited right and license to view, use and access ParentScreen and to incidentally view, print and upload images, text, graphics, photographs and other content to the extent made available by ParentScreen for such purposes on the ParentScreen solely for your informational purposes and for your revocable, immediate, private, personal and non-commercial use. You agree that ParentScreen owns all right, title and interest in and to ParentScreen.com, including without limitation all applicable Intellectual Property Rights to the ParentScreen and the technology. "Intellectual Property Rights" means any and all rights existing under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, unfair competition law, and any and all other proprietary rights worldwide. You agree that you will not, and will not allow any third party to: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, reverse compile, translate, adapt, or disassemble or otherwise access or adapt the ParentScreen , or any part thereof; (ii) copy, distribute, display, transmit or reproduce the ParentScreen , or any part thereof, in any form, including, but not limited to, fonts, icons, link buttons, wallpaper, and unlicensed merchandise; (iii) use the ParentScreen to access, copy, transfer, transcode or retransmit content in violation of any law or third party rights, or (iv) use the ParentScreen in any fashion that may infringe any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other intellectual property or proprietary right of ParentScreen , its affiliates, its third party suppliers or any other third party.
All feedback, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to us on the ParentScreen or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered to us (collectively, “Submissions”) shall be and remain ParentScreen property which we may use for any purpose including commercial purposes. However, you retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in any photograph uploaded, submitted, stored, sent or received. By submitting or uploading videos, you automatically and irrevocably grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to your videos, including, but not limited to, all copyrights and other intellectual property in your Submissions and photographs. You further agree that ParentScreen will have the unfettered right throughout the universe, in perpetuity, without any credit or compensation to you, to use, reuse, modify, alter, paraphrase, display, host, archive, publish, sub-license, perform, reproduce, disclose, transmit, broadcast, post, sell, translate, create derivative works of, distribute and use for advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional purposes, any of the Submission or portions of the Submission, and your name, voice, likeness, and other identifying information in any form, media, software or technology of any kind now known or developed in the future for any purposes whatsoever including, without limitation, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using your Submission.
You agree that no Message submitted by you to ForeverConnected ParentScreen will violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right(s). You are and shall remain solely responsible for the content of any Message you make.
Disclaimer of Warranty
THE TERMS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY PARENTSCREEN ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITH NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER. PARENTSCREEN MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THIS PARENTSCREEN OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS INCLUDED ON THIS PARENTSCREEN . YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THIS PARENTSCREEN IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, PARENTSCREEN AND YEARBOOKER DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PARENTSCREEN AND YEARBOOKER DO NOT WARRANT THAT THIS APP, ITS SERVERS, OR E-MAIL SENT FROM PARENTSCREEN ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
NEITHER PARENTSCREEN NOR YEARBOOKER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH STATES, PARENTSCREEN’S AND YEARBOOKER’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED AND WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUT SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP .
Copyrights and Copyright Agent
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any Content on the Web Site or app infringes upon your copyright(s), you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) for further detail):
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material;
